AI food search
Type a food the way you'd say it, a whole meal in one line, or take a photo of the plate. AI works out the calories and macros, and shows you what it assumed.
No matches for “grandma's chicken curry”
Let AI estimate the calories & macros for you.
Each says what it assumed and how sure it is: confident, likely, or a rough guess.
Type everything you had and it comes back as separate foods, with amounts.
Snap it and it works out what is on the plate.
For restaurant and brand items it searches the web, and shows where the numbers came from.
Features
Then a creature that grows on the results.
Scan a barcode, say it out loud, search 82,000 foods, or let AI work it out from a sentence or a photo of the plate.
Movement logs itself
Steps, workouts, active energy, heart rate and sleep come straight from Apple Health. You don't tap anything.
Protein, carbs and fat, each with a target worked out from your own height, weight, age and activity.
It's on your wrist too
The Apple Watch app has its own screens: log a meal, check the day, start a workout.
If you and a friend are both working out, the app notices and asks whether it should count double. Challenges, garden visits and gifts too.
Your Migo
Everyone starts as Pawmigo. At levels 2, 3 and 4 it picks up a feature from the way you live, and keeps it. At level 5 it evolves.
Everyone starts as Pawmigo.
Build: strength, protein, training yourself up.
Change how you live halfway and it keeps everything it has already earned. Other ways of living lead to other Migos, and those stay a surprise until you meet them.
Hats, glasses, jackets and more, bought with the coins you earn along the way.
Golden. Walk 12,000 steps in one day.
Plus Sky, Mint, Berry and Aurora, for 8,000 steps in a day, a full day of meals, four workouts and a 14-day streak.
The deal
No analytics SDK, no ad SDK, no crash reporter. The app does read your log closely — that is the point of it — but the reading is for you, not about you. Your own numbers are never behind a paywall either: what you logged reads back free, always. The privacy policy names every company that sees anything, and what each one gets.
FAQ
Tracking is free. Meals, macros, steps, workouts, sleep, your Migo and the garden — all free, and no ads. Later there will be a paid add-on, PocketMigo+, for unlimited AI food search and the deeper read on your habits. What you logged yourself always stays free. The price is not set yet, and everyone on the list hears it first.
A small creature that lives in the app. Everyone starts with the same one, Pawmigo. As it levels up it picks up features from the way you live, and at level 5 it evolves into a new Migo. Which one depends on what you actually did — what you ate, and whether you lifted, ran, walked or slept. You do not get to pick.
Yes. Hats, glasses, jackets and more come from the shop, bought with coins you earn. Skins are earned by doing things: walk 12,000 steps in one day and it turns gold.
Your Apple Health data never leaves your phone. What we keep is your account, your garden and your daily totals, so a reinstall does not wipe you out. The privacy policy names every outside company and exactly what each one gets.
No. Steps and workouts come from Apple Health on their own. Meals can be scanned by barcode, searched, spoken aloud, described to the AI, or photographed.
Ask the AI. Describe it in your own words and you get up to three readings, each saying what it assumed and how sure it is, with the calories, protein, carbs and fat. You can also type a whole meal in one line, or take a photo of the plate. Restaurant and brand items are looked up on the web, with the source shown. Pick what matches and it is saved to your foods.
Only what you give it for that one search: the words you typed, or the photo you chose to send. Not your name, not your account, not your history. Photos are never stored or shared. The AI is Claude, made by Anthropic, and the privacy policy says exactly what it gets.
Three AI searches a day are free. Asking the same thing again costs nothing, and neither does a search that fails. PocketMigo+ will make it unlimited when it launches.

Not at launch. iPhone and Apple Watch first.
Nothing punishing. Your Migo gets hungry and your streak resets, but nothing is deleted and nothing is lost. It is a pet, not a debt collector.
Coming to iPhone and Apple Watch.
